Giving Back

Hamtrax is built for radio operators who love public lands. National parks need steady funding so they can keep protecting the places where we hike, activate, hunt, and set up our radios.

Hamtrax intends to donate 5% of Hamtrax revenue to the National Park Foundation, the official charity of America's national parks and nonprofit partner to the National Park Service.

How the Pledge Works​

Hamtrax may aggregate pledge amounts and send them in batches. For each item of revenue collected by Hamtrax, Hamtrax intends in good faith to send the corresponding 5% pledge amount to the National Park Foundation within a rolling 13-month window from the time that revenue is collected.

For this pledge, revenue means money actually received by Hamtrax from app subscriptions, app purchases, or other Hamtrax product revenue, excluding refunds, chargebacks, and taxes or government fees Hamtrax is required to collect and remit.

Important Terms​

Hamtrax is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or officially partnered with the National Park Service or the National Park Foundation.

Your purchase is not a charitable donation by you and is not represented as tax deductible to you. Hamtrax is responsible for any donation it makes under this pledge.

Hamtrax does not provide public, customer-by-customer, or purchase-by-purchase proof of fulfillment. Hamtrax may maintain records for tax, accounting, compliance, and legal inquiry purposes.

If the National Park Foundation cannot accept a donation, or if a legal, tax, payment, or operational constraint prevents payment as planned, Hamtrax may hold the pledge amount until the issue is resolved or send it to a substantially similar U.S. national parks charity.

Hamtrax may update, pause, or end this pledge prospectively. Any change will apply only to revenue collected after the change is published.
