Clubs

Clubs bring your ham radio community into Hamtrax. Whether it's your local repeater group, a contest team, or an interest-based crew, a club gives you a shared space with a member directory, leaderboards, scheduled meetings, challenges, and discussions.

Finding and Joining a Club

  1. Open the Community tab and tap Clubs.
  2. Browse the club directory or use the search bar to find a club by name or callsign.
  3. Tap a club to view its profile, including its description, member count, and recent activity.
  4. Tap Join Club to become a member.

info

Public clubs are open to everyone -- you join instantly. Private clubs require approval from a club admin before you're added to the roster.

Creating a Club

If you don't see your group listed, you can start one yourself.

  1. From the Clubs page, tap Create Club.
  2. Fill in the club name, description, and location.
  3. Choose whether the club is Public (anyone can join) or Private (join requests need approval).
  4. Tap Create to launch your club. You'll automatically be assigned the Admin role.

Roles

Clubs have two roles:

  • Admin -- Full control over the club. Admins can edit club details, manage members, create meetings, launch challenges, and remove members. The club creator is always an admin and can promote other members.
  • Member -- Can participate in challenges, view the leaderboard, attend meetings, and join discussions.

Leaderboards

Every club has a built-in leaderboard that ranks members by QSO count. Switch between weekly, monthly, and all-time views to see who's been the most active.

tip

Leaderboards update automatically as members log QSOs. There's nothing extra to set up -- just log your contacts and your stats appear.

What's Next?

  • Challenges -- Run timed QSO competitions within your club.
  • Friends -- Connect with individual operators outside of clubs.
  • Messaging -- Chat directly with other Hamtrax users.
