Awards Overview

Hamtrax automatically tracks your progress toward major ham radio awards based on the QSOs in your logbook. There's nothing extra to configure -- just log contacts and watch your progress grow.

How Award Tracking Works

Every time you log a QSO, Hamtrax checks the contact's details -- country, state, CQ zone, band, and mode -- and updates your award progress in real time. Your progress is stored locally and synced to the cloud, so it stays current across all your devices.

You can view your award progress in two places:

  1. Profile tab -- Progress rings give you an at-a-glance summary of each award.
  2. Awards section -- Detailed breakdowns by band, mode, and individual entities.

Awards Currently Tracked

Hamtrax tracks three of the most popular ham radio awards:

AwardGoalSponsored By
DXCCWork 100+ DXCC entities (countries/territories)ARRL
Worked All StatesWork all 50 US statesARRL
Worked All ZonesWork all 40 CQ zonesCQ Magazine

Each award can be tracked across multiple modes -- Mixed, Phone, CW, and Digital -- so you can chase endorsements the same way you would with the official award programs.

info

Hamtrax tracks your progress toward these awards for your personal reference. To receive official certificates, you still need to submit confirmations through the sponsoring organization (ARRL Logbook of the World, CQ Magazine, etc.).

Getting Started with Awards

There are no settings to enable. If you already have QSOs in your logbook, your award progress is already being tracked. To see it:

  1. Open the Profile tab.
  2. Scroll to the Awards section.
  3. Tap any award to see your detailed progress.
tip

If you just imported a logbook, give Hamtrax a moment to process your contacts. Award progress updates automatically once your import is complete.
