Trophies

Trophies are visual achievements you earn by hitting milestones in Hamtrax. They're awarded automatically as you log QSOs, activate parks, work new countries, and use the app -- no manual action required. Your earned trophies are displayed on your profile for other operators to see.

Viewing Your Trophies

1. Open the Profile tab.
2. Scroll to the Trophies section, or tap Trophies to see your full collection.
3. Earned trophies are shown in full color. Locked trophies appear dimmed with a description of what you need to do to earn them.

Trophy Categories

Trophies are organized into several categories based on how you earn them.

Milestone Trophies

Earned by reaching cumulative thresholds in your operating:

Milestone	Example Thresholds
QSO count	10, 50, 100, 500, 1,000, 5,000, 10,000+
Country count	10, 25, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300
State count	10, 25, 40, 50
Zone count	10, 20, 30, 40

Each threshold earns its own trophy, so there's always a next goal to chase.

First-Time Achievements

Earned the first time you do something new:

• First DX contact -- Your first contact with a station outside your own country.
• First POTA contact -- Your first Parks on the Air QSO.
• First SOTA contact -- Your first Summits on the Air QSO.
• First contest -- Your first contest participation.
• First new band -- Your first QSO on a band you haven't used before.
• First new mode -- Your first QSO using a mode you haven't tried before.

App Milestones

Earned through your overall engagement with Hamtrax:

• First QSO -- Logged your first contact in the app.
• Century Club -- Reached 100 total QSOs.
• Distance Record -- Set a new personal best DX distance.
• Daily Champion -- Logged the most QSOs in a single day.
• Week Warrior -- Active 7 consecutive days.
• Month Master -- Active 30 consecutive days.
• Year Legend -- Active 365 days.

Competition Badges

If you participate in Hamtrax competitions and challenges, you can earn badges for victories, win streaks, and standout performances. See Challenges for details.

Rarity Tiers

Each trophy has a rarity tier based on how many Hamtrax users have earned it:

Tier	Rarity
Common	Earned by 50%+ of users
Uncommon	Earned by 20-50% of users
Rare	Earned by 5-20% of users
Epic	Earned by 1-5% of users
Legendary	Earned by fewer than 1% of users

Rarity tiers are shown as decorative frames around each trophy. As more operators join Hamtrax, rarity percentages shift -- so a trophy that's Rare today could become Epic tomorrow.

Trophies are earned automatically. There's nothing to submit or claim. When you hit a milestone, the trophy appears in your collection immediately.
